Fees and Rebates

A regular therapy session is 50-60 minutes in duration, and costs $250 per session.

The current Medicare rebate is $141.85 per session if you have a Mental Health Care Plan and a referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician.

It's important to note that while Medicare covers a portion of the cost, you will need to cover the difference (gap) between the rebate and the full session fee. Some private health insurance policies may also offer partial rebates for psychology services, but the specifics can vary, it's a good idea to check with your insurer for details.
