Astrid is qualified to deliver a range of treatments for various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and trauma. During the initial phase of therapy, Astrid will discuss with you which treatment is best suited to your needs and metal health goals.
Clinical Psychology is a science that uses evidence-based interventions to treat mental health conditions. Methods employed in sessions have been tested for their efficacy, and approved as an evidence-based treatment.
Astrid advocates for agency in treatment, and encourages constructive feedback from her clients. Astrid also believes that clients are experts in their own life, while the psychologist is the expert in providing strategies to achieve therapy goals and a safe, supportive environment for collaborative problem-solving.
Astrid offers telehealth therapy from the Blue Mountains, New South Wales. You may be eligible for medicare rebates through a Mental Health Care Plan or an Eating Disorder Treatment Plan and a referral from your doctor.
Astrid currently doesn’t see clients funded through NDIS or Work Cover.
